Blending Learning Courses allow you to complete the theory aspect of the course online, on your own time, at your own pace.
The in-class skills component is scheduled within 2-4 weeks of the completed online modules.

Requirements
Physical Requirements for all courses.
For successful completion of all courses, you will need to perform the following physical activities
- kneeling while compressing a mannequin for up to 2 minutes
- moving from standing, to sitting, to laying position
- group work for first aid and CPR scenarios
Participants must attend and participate in 100% of the course.
Completion Requirements for all courses
100% attendance, skills demonstration, and 75% minimum passing grade on written exam.
Completion of a course provides you with a 3-year certification (BLS provides a 1-year certification)
Pocket Resuscitation Mask
Red Cross Standards require that each participant have their own pocket resuscitation mask with single-use one-way valve. If you do not have your own pocket resuscitation mask, you can purchase one at the time of your in person class for $10.00.

- Level A - Online approximately 2 hours (depending on your learning style), Classroom - 2.5 hours
- Level C - Online approximately 2 hours, Classroom - 3.5 hours
- Level C Recertification - Online 2 hours, Classroom 2.5 hours
Emergency First Aid
- Level A - Online approximately 3 hours, Classroom - 4 hours
- Level C - Online approximately 3 hours, Classroom 4.5 hours
- Level C Recertification - Online 2 hours, Classroom 3.5 hours
Standard First Aid
- Level A - Online approximately 8 hours, Classroom - 6.5 hours
- Level A Recertification - Online 8 hours, Classroom 7.5 hours
- Level C - Online approximately 8 hours, Classroom - 7.5 hours
- Level C Recertification - Online 8 hours, Classroom 5.0 hours
- Level BLS - Online approximately 8 hours, Classroom - 8 hours
Blended Learning courses are the same price as other courses. i.e. If a course is listed as $95, it is that price if you are taking a full in-class session, or a blend learning session.
Completion Requirements

What are the differences between Standard and Emergency First Aid & CPR?
The Emergency First Aid & CPR Course covers the treatment for basic life threatening conditions, choking, heart attack, stroke, shock, as well as, CPR/AED and care for wounds.
In addition to the course content for Emergency First Aid, in the Standard First Aid & CPR, you also learn treatment for head and spinal cord injuries, sudden medical emergency ie (seizures/poisonings) and hyper and hypothermia.
- Level A only covers 1 person CPR for adults.
- Level C includes treatment for adults, children and infants.
- BLS level includes the use of advanced medical equipment and is intended for Health Care Professionals.
